This neighbourhood was built in the early 1970’s and offers a variety of bungalows, two-storey and split-level homes; most of which have single garages or carports. “Marywood Meadows” is often referred to as the “Park Area” due to its close proximity to that neighbourhood and the Fairgrounds.
 

Other than the namesake Mary Street, some of the other well-known streets in this neighbourhood are Henry Street, Princess Anne Drive, Harold Street, Hillside Drive and Cleaveholm Drive.  

 

All the homes in “Marywood Meadows” are within close proximity to the Georgetown hospital, Main Street shops & restaurants, and the Mary Street Park. The Farmer’s market is also a popular summer attraction that you can walk to on Saturdays from June to October.  For golfers, the North Halton Golf Club is a popular private course just minutes away.
 

The elementary schools that service this area are Holy Cross, Centennial PS, and Park PS.

The secondary schools that service this area are Christ the King Secondary School & Georgetown District High School.
