HALTON HILLS (GEORGETOWN) NEIGHBOURHOODS
"ARBOR GLEN"
Not too long after Stewart’s Mill was finished, Mattamy started construction on “Arbor Glen”, a little enclave of homes close to the downtown area just off of Eighth Line/Main Street. Most of the homes were completed in 2005 and were constructed on Mattamy’s highly publicized ‘wide-lots’ with a neighbourhood park. Most of the homes have high-end finishes and 9-ft ceilings. All the homes have double garages and most are 2-storeys; however, there are a few bungalows.
“Arbor Glen” is an exclusive subdivision comprised of only two streets; Arborglen Drive and Apple Blossom Crescent.
“Arbor Glen” is surrounded by hiking trails and its own little park called Dr. Charles Best Parkette.
From this great location, Main Street shops and restaurants, along with trails and Cedarvale Park are just a short walk away.
The elementary schools that service this area are St. Catherine of Alexandria, Pineview Pubic School, and Stewarttown Public School.
The schools that provide French immersion for this area are St. Brigid, Christ the King Secondary School, George Kennedy Public School, Centennial Public School & Georgetown District High School.
